First Round of the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii Starts Thursday!
Over 80 players in the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii's final field participated in Wednesday's Official Pro-Am at Waialae Country Club with Sony guests, local business leaders, community members and Hollywood celebrities Anthony Mackie (shown above), Jon Hamm and Ralph Macchio stepping up to the tee to show off their golf swings and join in on the fun.
"Today the most interesting thing I've seen is some very interesting golf swings. I will say, they weren't all textbook," said actor Jon Hamm. "We don't have to take it so seriously. That's my favorite tip for all the people out there. Don't worry about it so much."

Over twenty active duty military service members accepted the invitation to go inside-the-ropes at a PGA TOUR event as part of the Birdies for the Brave Military Caddie program in Wednesday's Official Pro-Am. For many of these military caddies, it was a bucket list moment to meet and watch their favorite golf professionals.
“Not everyday you get to go out and be caddy for a pro golfer...I got to meet Hideki [Matsuyama] last year, I loved it and enjoyed it." Gordon Lam, Birdies for the Brave Co-Chair told KITV4's Kimber Collins. "Billy Horschel, such a cool dude. People like that, they connect with you and make you feel like real people,”
